In celebration of the 20th anniversary of their seminal album Plans, Death Cab for Cutie has announced a series of special performances scheduled for August 2025. During these concerts, the band will perform the entire Plans album, including beloved tracks such as "Soul Meets Body," "I Will Follow You Into the Dark," and "Crooked Teeth."

The anniversary tour comprises four exclusive shows across three major U.S. cities:

In addition to these headlining shows, Death Cab for Cutie will serve as the opening act for My Chemical Romance on August 9, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Notably, this performance is not part of the Plans anniversary series.

Released on August 30, 2005, Plans marked Death Cab for Cutie's major-label debut under Atlantic Records. The album achieved platinum status and earned the band their first Grammy nominations, solidifying their place in the indie rock landscape.
